I always like to wake up early than everyone, have a small pause of quiet before the day starts. When I was running I think I woke up at 5 am to catch the cold air of the morning.
This applies to Christmas day as well. Waking up early, see if Santa arrived, see if the gifts are under the tree, be sure everything is where it should.
One of the things I love for Christmas is the fun of un-wrapping presents, for my kid, for me. I like the joy of discovery of what’s inside (even if I usually know).
But this 30 mins to 1h of quiet time also helps me start putting things in order (from Todo lists, the post we have to do, reading investing blogs/news). For Christmas I like starting to plan my objectives for the next year and star to analyse the progress done for this year.
My tip for you is to set realistic objectives, try a SMART approach on them, but make sure one of them is to read more about finances (from books, to blogs even financial consultants). Good relationship with money and finance can improve your life(no matter how much you earn, no matter how frugal).
I would like to profit of this occasion and wish you all a happy Christmas and all the best for the next year! The most important in this period is to be healthy and stay safe!
Happy Christmas everyone and thank you for having the patience to read my blog this year!
